2018 Tribal Grant Competition Now Open Requests for Projects that Reduce Diesel Emissions Proposals Due Thursday, September 6

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has announced the availability of $2.0 million in grant funding for tribal applicants. Under this grant competition, each applicant may request up to $800,000 in federal funding.

Request for Proposals for 2018 Clean Diesel National Grants

EDITOR’S NOTE: EPA Clean Diesel News released this information on April 25, 2018.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announces the availability of approximately $40 million in Diesel Emission Reduction Program (DERA) funds to support projects aimed at reducing emissions from the nation's existing fleet of older diesel engines.  Under this competition, between 20 and 80 awards are anticipated to be made to eligible applicants. The deadline is June 12, 2018.

New Process for Submitting EPA Grant Proposals Begins January 1, 2018

Starting January 1, 2018, EPA will require a new process called "Workspace" for submitting grant proposals/applications through grants.gov.   EPA’s Office of Grants and Debarment will host webinars to provide training and will demonstrate the new process. No registration is required.  EPA will be recording the sessions for those who cannot attend and will post them on the training website listed below.
