April 6, 2019: School Yard Ecosystem Investigations: A Project Learning Tree workshop for K-12 Educators

Join us for a Project Learning Tree professional development opportunity, "School Yard Ecosystem Investigations," for K-12 teachers on the same day as the Rowan-Salisbury Schools Science Festival on April 6, 2019 from 9am-4pm at the Center for the Environment at Catawba College in Salisbury. All K-12 teachers are welcome!

Providence Day School Receives NC Green School Award

Providence Day School (PDS) has received the NC Green School of Quality award for its ongoing sustainability efforts. The program, under the auspices of the Center for the Environment at Catawba College, recognizes both public and private schools in the state that promote sustainability. Twenty schools have been recognized through the program.
