Save Money: Cut Trash in Half
John Campbell, an entrepreneur who serves as chairman of the board of WasteZero, will speak Tuesday, February 23, on waste reduction at the Center for the Environment building on the Catawba College campus. His presentation – “Cut Trash in Half in America: Right Now!” – is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in Room 300.
Founded in 1991, WasteZero is the nation’s largest waste reduction company. It partners with municipalities, state agencies and private organizations to increase recycling and reduce waste. The company offers a range of services, from analysis and design to building and managing a waste reduction program. Its pay-as-you-throw (PAYT) program encourages citizens to recycle more because they pay only for the trash they generate.
Campbell earned an MBA from the College of William & Mary and received his BBA summa cum laude from Pace University.
