Please join the Catawba College Center for the Environment and the Downtown Salisbury Association April 21-22 for Salisbury’s First Annual Earth Day/Sustainability Showcase and the Center for the Environment’s 10 th Anniversary Celebration.
Festivities will include:
- A Downtown Salisbury “Night Out” on Friday from 5-10 p.m., featuring local street bands and merchant-sponsored activities for families and children.
- A Sustainability Showcase in Salisbury’s F&M Trolley Barn, highlighting products that will make your world more “green,” from 6-10 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday.
- Workshops in “green” building options at the Center for the Environment building at 2300 West Innes Street from 1-4 p.m. on Friday.
- Live entertainment and activities for families and children at the Trolley Barn from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday.
- Nature walks and workshops at the Center for the Environment facility from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday.
* Complementary transportation between downtown Salisbury and the Center for the Environment building will be provided by the Trolley System and biodiesel buses during the two-day event.
